This past weekend we participated in the Tuthill House Rustic Wedding Showcase run by the Tuthilltown Distillery, a name which should ring many bells for whiskey fans.
Tuthill House is a historic former mill house turned restaurant which was taken over this past year by the distillery as an expansion of its operations. It sits just off the intersection of Route 44/55 and County Road 9 in Gardiner.
The site, which had already received renovations under its previous owner, recently underwent another facelift courtesy of the distillery. The result is a much improved venue which has much to offer, including an outdoor reception deck along the Walkill River and a more spacious bar area for cocktail hours.
What’s more, the distillery’s adjacent tasting room offers a unique photographic backdrop for couple creative shots, something especially appealing to grooms who are whiskey connoisseurs.
Tuthill House is practically in our backyard and we’re looking forward to shooting once again at this reinvented historic site.
